So far, I'm a bit taken-aback that Hayes, in the first chapter, fails to cite some significant authors. He directly uses Kuhn's "Structure of Scientific Revolutions," but does not cite. Much of what he writes is classic family systems therapy, but he never cites a single author from that tradition.
