I used to love Connelly's historical rom coms, but lately they've really just been historical romances with a hint of mystery. Thankfully this one keyed up the romance a little bit more than the last one I read.
I did enjoy the overall storyline and how the brothers were brought together. I also liked that it was a marriage of convenience. But even for a marriage of convenience this moved too fast for me especially in regards to (off screen) intimacy.
The book takes place over a very short period of time and was just too rushed for me. The suspense/mystery parts were good but I wanted more time for things to develop.
I received an advanced copy of this book through NetGalley. This is my honest review.
