Dayum.

Okay, takes a little bit to get going. Too much telling instead of showing early on. I found myself impatient for some action. But it picks up, and picks up more, and by the time books were burning in the fireplace I was well and truly gone.

Wonderful narration too.

It was a while ago but I remember that I was so obsessed with this book when I was reading it. ( or maybe possessed, hehe)
It was very well written and you read it like running water! The storyline was exciting throughout and you did not want to put it down!!
I also remember that I was listening to "Addicted" by Kelly Clarkson literally on repeat while reding this book and it just made the experience so much more powerful.

Good read if you accept it for what it is. Pretty classic demon possession story. No big twist or new ideas but having it told through the person being possession was interesting. While the writing was pretty simple and straightforwar , it was enough to keep you engaged.

I would have like  a bit more character development. More about what she was like pre possession I think would have made the changes in her character more disturbing.

if i knew that the story was going to lean towards possession and demons etc i would have NEVER picked this book up because all of this just terrifies me beyond reason ; however it turned out to be rather soft, not very graphic, and i was hooked from the first page. definetly not groundbreaking but i'd say it's pretty effective, would totally help when in a reading slump.
