Brandon Sanderson remains a Genius with his high fantasy series. I do admit I was afraid to continue this series as it is a long commitment but separating the books in two parts helps a lot.

You follow two timelines that eventually kinda meet up. This makes the story flow enough to keep you interested in it. I do like how the main focus shifted from the mmc from way of the kings to a different character that portrays the other problems this kingdom is going from.

We went from a book that was really focused on the battles and the strategy in there to a book more focused on political games between high society and the way characters are dealing with a boxed of setting in society and the racist ways they are treated.
