This book is unlike anything I've ever read. Being that it is not fantasy/science fiction etc. and could in theory have happened in reality, it has quite a bizarre plot. Right when you think the story couldn't possibly have any more twists, it takes you in another direction entirely. Even still, it kept my attention the entire time and had me guessing until the very end. As someone who is often dissatisfied with endings, I wasn't mad at this one. For a novel with so many different plot lines and complications, the way it gets tied up in the end doesn't feel forced or ridiculous.
