ok so here is the thing: this book is technically EXCELLENT. between gideon’s voice and the 6000 new things i learned that you can do with bones, a wild and glorious ride from top to bottom. but it was too grimdark to fully be my cup of tea, hence the 4 stars.

thank god i have a harrow ARC to throw myself into now.
