Seems haphazardly strewn together. Some statements did not age well. Her last acts before her death may have caused this country's decay.

Back to this book which is objectively bad. Seriously... I doubt she wrote most of what's inside and was just involved in the branding.

Funny, sarcastic, witty but short. It's refreshing to know this side of Senator Miriam. Despite her numerous achievements, she can relate to the latest trends in social media, pickup lines, etc, and she continuous to uphold strong social and moral values in a corrupt government.

Witty, funny and really motivational. I would like to one day, sit down and listen to her talk and talk and talk. In fact, she could talk my ears off. This book was difficult to put down. It took me a few days to finish because I was dreading the end of this book, knowing that when I am done, I won't have a dose of Senator Miriam's humor and intelligence.

Fun quotes that reminisce on parts of Miriam Defensor Santiago's experiences as a woman in politics.
I can *hear* her verbally dragging people like she would many times to put stupidity on public display.
A quick and lighthearted read!

It's funny when you read it, but it's funnier when you just try and imagine her voice while you're reading it. The wits and wisdom of the late (it pains me a great deal to say it) senator is truly a gift to the country (if not to the world). Her insights and humor-induced pick-up lines about politics, marriage, and life is very entertaining and thought-provoking (a few) albeit sometimes already being familiar from collective memory. But still, the words that fill these pages are worth every single peso and minute of your time. Sen Miriam left the pieces and remnants of her soul and mind to the Filipino people, and I am in constant wonder about what we did to deserve a hero like her.
