It's my first book by Ms. O'Rourke and definitely is not the last! I loved every bit of this book. I loved it that it's a standalone but there is more of the background to indulge! And I will indulge the series soon!

I love insta love. Especially when it happens to the guys. It's just different. And here we have hot alpha male claiming oblivious new town librarian mare hours after her arrival.

We have here enough drama, emotions and story to fully enjoy this short story.

Loved it. 4 stars.

Read and reviewed as part of the blog Tour.

Any time I see that Sarah O'Rourke has a new book coming out, I get excited and Claimed was no different! Although, I would say I was probably more pumped than usual because it was taking place in her Passion in Paradise series and I just looooove that series. I knew that it wouldn't happen, but I was definitely not disappointed with Claimed - I positively loved it!

Claimed might be an instalove-y, safe read, but just because it was, that doesn't mean that Carolina made it easy for Aiden. Oh no, she fell for him, but she made him work for it. Caro is sassy and stubborn and she's not very trusting, but she is sweet and she has a good heart. Of course, I wanted them to end up together, but I liked seeing Caro's vulnerableness and that she made Aiden fight for her - I just liked her.

And it's a no-brainer that I loved Aiden! He's exactly my kind of hero with all he's growly-possessive-mine ways. He's protective and sexy and you never have to doubt his feelings or devotion for Caro for a second. Aiden is all in and even when everything got mucked up a little, he knew exactly what to say to make it all better. Aiden is just great and I know you'll love him like I do!

Claimed is a fast, short read and it's not as complicated or angsty as some books, but it will still tug at your heart and get your blood going. It's sexy and steamy and so full of heart and love. It was a lovely addition to the Passion in Paradise series and I can't wait for more to come!

Claimed is a standalone, it's told from Aiden and Caro's POV, and their happy ending will leave you with a smile on your face!

I really enjoyed this story by Sarah O'Rourke!

Aiden was your typical alpha male and once he saw Carolina he stopped at nothing to claim her! Aiden is the local town Fire Chief. Carolina has just moved here as the librarian and looking for a fresh start. When her and Aiden first meet they have instant chemistry. I loved their banter with each other throughout the story. In this story things moved fast and then we have some drama which was to be expected given Aiden's past. I understood why Carolina was upset but she didn't even let the man explain. But I guess is better than be a doormat so I don't fault her for what she did.

“Baby, you’ve got curves that would make an artist weep and any priest re-think his life plan.”

"You just got a little carried away with the hunky fireman stud and his super-sized hose.”

“If you give me your heart, I’ll protect it until the last breath leaves my body,

This story has the perfect mix of funny, loving and sexy moments. The writing held my interest and I finished the book in under an hour. This sweet insta love story was just what I needed to knock me out of my horrible book funk!!

I know that this was a novella. But even with such a short story, the storyline was a bit far fetched. I am all for alpha male leads and I can relate to knowing my future mate is was the one right away. But Aiden was really over the top. I wouldn't mind reading a longer novel from this author since I did enjoy the writing.

Note, I did receive an advanced copy of this story in order to prepare my honest review.

This is the second book I've read from this series and now I'm even more determined to go back and read the others. It's well-written, witty, and fun. The characters in the quirky little town are full of spunk and kept me turning pages to see what they'd say next. Claimed was very fast-paced and yes, it's instalove, but I just couldn't help but root for Carolina and Aiden. This is the perfect book to curl up with for a lighthearted read.

The moment Fire Chief Aiden James came across Carolina Mayfair he knew she was his. Trying to convince her was another matter altogether, Carolina is the towns new librarian and she is not sure that Aiden is being sincere about his claim she is his.

Very fun read. Aiden goes a bit crazy because he knows Carolina is his soul mate. Carolina though is more stuck in her head and her experience from a bad relationship. Really enjoyed this one.

Claimed is a sassy-sexy-novella set in the Passion in Paradise series. It is insta-love and Aiden is alpha as fuck, totally possessive and if I was Carolina, I wouldn't bother wearing any panties at all. Although Aiden did get his way into Carolina's panties within hour of their meeting, something happened which made Carolina pushed him away. Carolina has issues and I do think that she was being a tad too harsh on Aiden but in the end they both worked it out. I am so happy to revisit this world and I am really hoping to see more secondary characters getting their HEA especially Slade and RJ.

Can Claimed be read as standalone? Absolutely but I would highly recommend that you read the entire series first to get the entire Paradise experience. You wouldn't regret it.

I liked this book but it didn't have that wow factor to boost it to 5 stars. I like that it wasn't an instant fall into bed situation and they at least had conversation. I didn't like the h after she ran out and avoided the H. I also wish I got to see her settling in to town. We're told about things that happened in town, but I would have liked that to be a bigger part of the story.
