**********Contains Spoilers**********

I really enjoyed this book and thought that it was another good addition to the Stick Side Series. I thought that Rory (Stanton) and Kris (Xappa) were great together and their chemistry was completely off the charts, as well as hot as hell. This book moved into an intimate relationship a bit quicker than the previous books which didn’t bother me as these two have known each other for years since Kris is Rory’s older brother Emery’s best friend. Man, Kris had so much sh*t piled on him during this book, and I’m glad that he had Rory to lean on. All I can say is that it would be absolutely horrible being famous, as people believe that because you’re in the public eye that they’re somehow entitled to your private life. Rory, has had feelings for Kris for a while now but believes that Kris only views him as a kind of little brother, especially after Kris didn’t reciprocate his drunken kiss the year prior.

Kris thought that Rory only kissed him while he was drunk and that he didn’t actually mean it. Since the drunken kiss Kris has been viewing Rory in a different light, as more than Emery’s younger brother. The two grow closer and become friends and then mo when Rory breaks his leg falling off a ladder while helping his 83 year old neighbour decorate for a party, and Kris offers to let Rory stay at his since it’s only single story. Rory only thinks that Kris invited him because of Emery which is partially true but Kris ends up enjoying having Rory in his space. I loved seeing these two go on dates. The axe throwing is definitely a new one but makes total sense since Kris isn’t out and isn’t the typical date activity. Kris’s snarky way of telling the world what he thinks about what’s been said about him and Rory being together after he was outed made me smile. I’m looking forward to reading Emery and Felix’s book next. I’d definitely recommend this book, series and author to everyone.

Oh my god the slow burn in this book is sooooooo good! Rory's pining and Kris' obliviousness of his own feelings were perfect. I loved how Kris helped Rory reclaim the things he used to love as a kid. On the flip side I adored that Rory helped Kris come to terms with his own inner demons. These two make each other stronger and their shared history (Kris being Rory's brother's best friend) just made it all the more sweet as they fall for each other.

This was another great hockey romance in the Stick Side series. You don't have to have read the other books first, but the ones I've read were all just as good as this one. Two-Man Team is a brother's beat friend, friends to lovers, teammates story. It was great to see characters from previous books appear in this one. I loved seeing how Kris & Rory took care of each other and were so perfect for each other.

I received an advanced copy and voluntarily gave my honest review.

I love this series and this one did not disappoint. This was a sweet, sexy, low angst read from a wonderful author and was well written with a wonderful storyline. You don't have to read the whole series to understand this book, but I recommend you do because they are great.

This was my first introduction to this series and I definitely want to go in and read the other books now. I loved Kris and Rory together. Kris is such a sweetheart with community service projects aimed to better kids, not just in hockey but in the areas they love and care about but he keeps being made out to be the bad guy by the media. Poor Rory was a little bit weaker then I typically like a MC but he was just what Kris needed and Kris really brings him out of himself.

Siiiiiiiiigh.
It was fine.
I expected more (for what ever dumb reason).
It took way too long for Xappa to figure his feelings out. Like...painfully long. Be prepared.
