I will probably be giving a few copies of this book as gifts to some of the young women in my life

It's okay, kind of a memoir with Christian platitudes thrown in. A very easy read that doesn't challenge the mind in any capacity.

This book is inspirational and hopeful in a way the world needs, mine especially. This was exactly what I needed right now and it’s refreshing to read about living for hope and peace in a world that so often fights for other things.

I picked this book up because of my love for Maria’s Husband’s,Bob Goff, book: Love Does. Maria definitely has a different writing style but it was a beautiful journey to see her side of life and all she’s been through. If you like Love Does or Everybody Always I would recommend!!

When I say Love Lives Here changed my life, I am not being over dramatic. I first "met" Sweet Maria Goff through her husband's "Love Does" and knew that I had to read her words as well.
Mrs. Goff's story is full of honesty, wisdom, and grace...and love. She has reminded me what I set out to have my home and life look and feel like. Using stories from her own experiences, she encourages the reader to dig deep in our own messes and move forward in Love. To take chances and to dream big. To love our neighbors with no strings attached...just love them all. Do what you do best and someone else can take care of the other stuff. Be a friend. And let friends help you back. Be who God made YOU to be.
"We don't all have to do big things, but we can do equally important small things."
Love Lives Here will make you laugh, may make you cry, and it will encourage you to Love well.
*I received an Advanced Reader Copy from the publisher in exchange for my honest review.

I'm not a fan of many of the popular Christian authors who present books in essay style, but this was easy to listen to. Sweet Maria sounds like a friend and invites you into her life to remind you, in a natural way, what is important in life while also sharing personal family stories.
I'm reminded to keep a focus on my purpose in life while being encouraged to expand my hospitality and love big.
Audio version, narrated by M. Goff.

I enjoyed listening to this audiobook, but this is definitely a book I would invest in buying! Reading Love Lives Here is like sitting down with an older mentor and being poured into. I learned so much about quiet strength and embracing your identity through this read.
