I loved, loved, loved this collection! I was lucky enough to attend the launch and hear some of the poetry performed (particular highlight: Schlafwagen und Wunderkammer), and now to read it feels a delight, an indulgence, a treat. So wonderfully moving in places, wryly funny in others, Richard James Allen has done a phenomenal job. The book itself is gorgeous too, hats off to everyone at UWA publishing for the production. This is one of those poetry collections that I'll need to refer back to time and again, I think. Personal favourite: How we met.
