"We miss a lot when our eyes are closed."

Oh I was so excited to continue this love triangle after reading the first book. But somehow I came up a little disappointed. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed reading it and loved that Delaney ended up with the guy I rooted for. However some things were missing...

"This right here in his arms... this feels like family."

As I don't want to spoil things for you it's hard for me to write the review without giving to much away. But what I can tell you is that the rockstar was unbelievable gorgeous with the patience of a Mother Theresa. Delaney was a very frustrating character, who even after making her decision still seem to question if it was the right one. Chase was a total nutcase and it was hard for me to believe he really fell back in love with his high school sweetheart.

"Life is either a daring adventure or nothing."

Intermission gives us a sweet ending to this love triangle duet that will melt your heart.

Wow - I have never read a book where I actually wanted to hit the heroine in the head time and time again with every turn of the page until I met Delaney. Caught between the love of a rock star and the love of a football great - this girl has a hard choice to make. Her lack of decision making makes each and every chapter an emotional overload. In one chapter you want her to choose Team Gavin, in the next you want Team Chase. In the end she FINALLY decides to follow her heart and not her past. Another wonderful read from Lisa Suzanne. Filled with a beautiful storyline and characters you cannot help but love (or hate) this will once again be a series that I will re-read time and time again.

Yesss!

No one writes a triangle quite like LS, and I was not disappointed in the slightest!
This is a continuation from Interception, and I’m so relieved that my questions have been answered.
I’m not gonna tell you who I was rooting for, but I will say that I was super disappointed in someone’s actions... sorry, I felt like a disciplining parent just then, but I needed to let it out.
Highly recommended!

This book carries on from Interception and I couldn't wait to find what decision Laney made.
Would she find out Chase and Gavins secrets?
Laney is so much turmoil when Chase's secret is found out but can she run to Gavin?
I know who I wanted her too choose!
I loved reading this duet and can't wait for more from Lisa Suzanne.
I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

After the jaw-dropping ending to Interception, I had to dive right into Intermission as soon as it hit my kindle! And it did not disappoint! Such an amazing conclusion to this duet. Intermission answers every question Interception left me. It filled in so many blanks and is bam full of emotion, self growth and self discovery. Truly a one of a kind duet. I'm just blown away by how different and unique this book was. It didn't follow the ‘traditional’ romance novel checklist, I mean it still ticks every box but in such a special new way. The way in which Lisa intertwined the lives of these three people was genius. I was floored by her uncanny ability to involve all three of them and keep your attention with them. It was a story that grabbed my attention and made me DEVOUR this book. She definitely has a way with love triangles that’s for sure. And you couldn’t have picked two completely different characters than Chase and Gavin. It was really magical how Lisa Suzanne handled everything in this story.

Intermission was exactly what I hoped and wished for whenever I pick up a novel by Lisa Suzanne. I adored these characters. I loved their story. This book definitely ticked off all my boxes for the perfect romance. I smiled and swooned from page to page, hoping right along with Laney and the one she ultimately chose for the chance to see this romance blossom. I'm glad she ended up with the right guy—the best guy. I'm not naming names but I just have to say that from the outset I was already rooting for him. You could feel the genuineness of his feelings. This was a wonderfully written tale and I absolutely loved it!

A 3/5 star read for me for a few reasons. Honestly this duet could have been a single book. Book 2 felt really short and not much happened story wise. There were ups and downs and a whole lot of drama which felt unnecessary at times. I was happy with how the book ultimately ended but it just didn’t wow me.

I’m glad Delaney chose who she did and that they found a way to make it work. The ending was fun and wrapped up the duet nicely.

Love and enjoyed how this story played out. Needless to say the real winner of her heart is one that has proven himself time and time again but Delaney needed some time to really see what she wants and figure out what has always been right in front of her.

Do not get me wrong...the journey to each other came with some obstacles and some truths to be revealed that cannot be taken lightly. However, will these things that come to light be something that will affect what Delaney wants? How much more time will Chase and Gavin have to wait on her decision? She faces the paparazzi when her name continues to be mentioned in celebrity gossip making her seem like she is playing two guys at once.

To add to the mix...her decisions will have her rethinking on what she wants to do with her career. To stay, to leave, or to move?
