this was such an improvement from the first book in the series - it had me smiling to myself, feeling the sadness alongside the characters, & in desperate need for a trip to the north shore.

I love the main characters & their banter from the start. The conflict wasn’t overly contrived (dramatic of course, but somewhat plausible) & I loveeeee when a man is just down bad 🫶🏻

points off for Jason’s

frequent inability to believe Sloan knows what is best for herself
