I surprisingly really enjoyed this book! The characters were complicated all in their own right, and it wasn’t challenging to distinguish all of them even though some people thought so. I thought that all of the secrets and the stories were well played out and provided some good content while the A plot was warming up. I just wish we had gotten some more buildup for the end. A little bit too unexpected for me honestly.

Loved this! A bit twisty and turny, characters that seemed real and flawed, I didn't know who I was rooting for. Fantastic pacing and writing.

I can't remember the last time I was so engrossed by a thriller. I think I overdid the genre during the pandemic and found myself bored with it. However, I don't know if it was the plot, the characters or both that drew me in, but I couldn't put this book down. It reminded me a lot of Big Little Lies in a very good way and kept me on the edge of my seat. While some plot aspects were obvious to me, I still really enjoyed the book and enjoyed being able to piece things together before they were revealed. Maybe it's because this booked toed the line between thriller and drama, but regardless, I'm looking forward to reading more from Richell.

Wow I really enjoyed this by the end! I think it got off to a slow start and the characters were hard to keep track of at first, but it slowly grabbed me and I didn’t even notice it was happening. There were some great twists and red herrings throughout that I really enjoyed. I definitely will read more from Richell!
