4.5 rounded up to 5 stars. This book was a ton of fun. It was fast-paced, had characters that, while flawed, felt believable and human. My one complaint is that, for being a mystery novel, things seemed to fall into place relatively easily for the "heroes", but otherwise, I thoroughly enjoyed Harmony Black, and I can see myself returning for the next book in the series.

I really enjoyed this book. The story was original and it always kept me guessing.I think I found another new favorite series. Already diving in to book 2!
Darn these stupid Kindle First books because this was the first in a series that JUST came out, and I enjoyed it, but too bad for me because who knows when there'll be a #2. Not flawless, but fun and enjoyable and an interesting take on supernatural and the FBI.
Wow. I have Amazon prime, and every month we get to pick a book to read for free that releases the following month. This month I chose Harmony Black and I'm so glad I did. It is one of the best reads I've had in awhile. I'm an avid reader, and I enjoy all kinds of genres, which is a good thing when you get burned out on one or another. I've been avoiding paranormal/supernatural-ish books for awhile now because they started feeling repetitive. This one I can honestly say I enjoyed. I finished it within a couple of hours. I can read just about anything, but I'm VERY picky with what I like and enjoy and I certainly don't hand out 5 stars to every book. This one earned it. I also rarely leave book reviews. I only do when I really really love the story, or loathe it. I will happily be purchasing the next book in the series when it comes out.
Exciting, but extremely dark. Parts of this were terrifying. Not my cup of tea at all.
