All I can say is wow. I literally just finished so the ending is fresh on my mind, but I think I’m going to be stuck on this ending for a long time. The last 3 or 4 chapters of this book are incredibly fast paced and absolutely amazing. The beginning and some of the middle has a lot of world building, which to me can feel a little too much at times, but overall this book was incredible. Sorasa Sarnes is hands down the best character ever. Taristan is a great villain. Valtik is funny to me. And I still don’t like andry. He’s too vanilla, even tho he was a bit better in this book than he was in the first book. Love this book. You should read it. Can’t wait for book 3.
lowkey made me slump but i still enjoyed it I JIST RLLY LOVED BOOK 1 FOR SOME REASON but if i was never attached to the characters i’d give this around 3 but since i am

This was a DNF. I try not to DNF books, but I had just finished the first book in this series which was just OK, and this was even more drudgery.
I found the overly descriptive narrative to hinder the pace of the story. My eyes kept jumping, I kept rereading, an dmy brain kept turning out. The ideas of the the story are very good, but not executed In a way I can track with. If there is a book three, I will not subject myself to it.

normaal vind ik zulke boeken geweldig, maar viel plat en was eigenlijk gewoon saai. Erg matig man, had er meer van verwacht.
I swear this book was a filler but I only made it up to page 150 before I end so I wouldn’t know but literally nothing happened in thoes 150 pages and I don’t know if I had to read more for th story to actually pick up but I could not do it it was so dragged out and boring I also found her other books to be like that
