Wow wow wow does Frank Miller write a good comic. His depth and darkness of Matt and Daredevil is brilliant and adds so much layers to his backstory, amazing stuff.

After reading Miller's fantastic 80s run on Daredevil and seeing his style grow and blossom gradually as he went from artist to writer-artist, "Man Without Fear" can mostly be summed up as fine. It's essentially a retelling of Daredevil's origin with Miller's own creation Elektra jammed into the appropriate part of Matt Murdock's timeline and some additional horrific acts from the bad guys who are, as per usual with Franky M, utterly irredeemable and without value to society whatsoever.

BUT! Miller was of course still a solid craftsman at the time so it's honestly never anything less than entertaining.
