I read this book back in April or May, I don't really remember, and even though I enjoyed it so freaking much, I never got to write a review.. until now.

This book was super cute and sweet and everything you want from a YA romance.
Both the two main characters are so lovable, which I personally think is very rare and hard to find in YA books and romance books in general.

It's a bit of an enemies-to-lovers which is one of my favorite tropes. It's a bit of a slow burn which again is something I quite enjoy. It's very funny, the dialogue is super fun and I find myself wanting to go back and reread it because it was just so damn sweet!!!

One thing I have to add is that there's this ongoing thing where the main female character picks songs' lyrics to fit the situation she's in... and it's a bit cringe but very much dismissible, I think I might have skipped reading most of those.

Premier coup de cœur de Juillet, je savais que j’allais adoré mais là ce roman est une pépite.

Comme Liz je suis très rom-com girly passe ma vie à me faire des films et un peu nerdy je me suis beaucoup retrouvée dans son personnage. Je n’ai pas lâché ma lecture dès les premiers chapitre, la plume de Lynn Painter est fluide et se lis très rapidement, c’est une roman YA tous ce qui il y à de plus mignon, c’est marrant, touchant et typique d’un Teen Movie / Rom-Com des années 2000.

Wes & Liz sont le couple le plus mignon que j’ai lu depuis un petit moment. Il lui à acheter des chaussures…Pour moi c’est le moment où j’ai su qu’il était fait pour elle, un enemies-to-lovers / fake dating avec une playlist de folie et des références au rom-com les plus classiques que demander d’autre.

Je veux lire tous ces romans.
