✨ The Title/Cover Draw:
This book seemed super cute and since it came from BOTM, I decided to try it.

This was so cute. I wasn’t a huge fan of Nicola Yoon’s other books but this was so cute. Yes it’s a story about love, but the focus wasn’t a love story.

Absolutely flew through this one... Slightly unsatisfying back-and-forth from main character but generally super encompassing story

Sweet teen romance that features two of my favorite things: dancing and magical realism. I love how Yoon addresses the mystery of love in these pages.

It was cute a little disappointing as I was expecting to feel as wrapped into the story as everything everything but I still loved the development of the romance. I enjoyed the interesting appeal of her abilities. The chapters dedicated to each couples story was a lovely touch as well.

I finished this book in one day. I simply could not put it down. This book was everything I needed at this time in my life. I really connected with Evie, and i felt that i could have done with learning a few of the lessons she learned as well. However, even though it was lovely, this book is not really a love story. I just finished it and I don’t feel the high you get from reading a romance.. in fact, my heart is a little bit broken. Nicola truly takes you on a roller coaster of emotions. You feel, how Evie feels. You feel for her. At least I did. I really liked the way the story flowed and how the romance just kind of happened. It didn’t feel forced. I feel like more than love, this is a story of forgiveness and learning to live in the moment & I think that’s really beautiful. I will definitely be recommending this book for others to read as well :)

First of all I love the Hardcover cover design. I’m a sucker for covers! Second, I get the message of the book however it made me reflect on myself and if I were the character it would turn out a lot differently. Alas, it’s the message that counts and it is what it is.
