The storyline of Struck is the most interesting part of the story, especially since Amanda is introducing it all to Phoebe and the readers at the same time. Phoebe is going to be one kick-butt character, even though she just got introduced to this new world. There’s no doubt about it Amanda Carlson always writes the most kick-butt and addicting characters ever, which is one of the main reasons why I’ve always enjoyed her books. Urban Fantasy is my first love and this series is definitely going to be one I will definitely enjoy a lot.

I give this book 4 stars and highly recommend it to Urban Fantasy readers out there.

4 1/2 out of 5

All the world building slowed things down a bit, but this was pretty fab. It filled my need to read about Norse mythology after reading [a:Shelly Laurenston|65137|Shelly Laurenston|https://s.gr-assets.com/assets/nophoto/user/f_50x66-6a03a5c12233c941481992b82eea8d23.png]'s Call of Crows series. I was sort of surprised by the relationship turn between Phoebe and Fenrir. They seemed at odds on one page and then not. It might be the first person view that threw me off. I thought Fen felt certain things, but then it was hard to tell. It was a definite ride. So much happening one after another. I'm hooked, though. I need to know what happens next.
