It takes a whole lot to scare me but shockingly this book did it! Sleeping with a candle burning tonight
It’s more like a 3.7 so I just rounded it to a 4 star. It had really good tense moments but kinda fell flat in places you would expect to pick up with intensity. Also, a tad bit predictable in parts but I don’t regret my time spent reading it. Still feel it was a good story overall.

Naw I had so much fun I’d love to see this as a Netflix miniseries that doesn’t take itself seriously !!!
A average but still good haunted house book. My first Darcy Coates book, might try some others this wasn't enough to send me digging through her other novels in a hurry.
