Like the other Thursday Murder Club books this one continues to keep you entertained. It does handle some darker and more challenging themes that come with aging. It has a lot of moving parts and storylines that keep the book moving quickly.

It’s been a few years since I last read the last book in the series and I’ll admit this one was off to a bit of a slow start for me. What I was not expecting was to cry from this installation. What I really wasn’t expecting was to cry twice. Even with the few years between reads, the emotional investment in the characters is still there and this one went for my heart. I’m looking forward to reading the fifth book in the series sometime (hopefully) soon.
