What can I say never a disappointment. Even though I’m not reading them in order they are exciting and the characters always draw you on.

Not as good as his earlier ones. Possibly trying to be a bit more ambitious in plotting, with a backstory told in flashbacks. It was just annoying. These are light thrillers, with likeable characters, and lots of twists, some stretching credulity. You just enjoy the ride. This one seemed to be aiming a little higher in ambition. The comparative lack of courtroom scenes, where Eddie Flynn excels, made it slightly boring.

Another great book by Cavanagh - I’m absolutely storming through these Eddie Flynn novels! I will say, I found this one slightly more boring (maybe because there was less personal risk for Flynn) and some plot points were a bit predictable - but maybe I’m just catching on to Cavanagh’s style of storytelling.

I love these Eddie Flynn conman-turned-lawyer action novels so much that I'm willing to overlook the UK verbiage that sneaks in.

I love this series but this particular book just feels like it was written by a different author altogether, especially at the beginning. It got really good towards the middle though and felt like the other Eddie Flynn books I've read.
