A nice addition to the collection of picture books on ecological themes. Accessible language, lovely illustrations.

Loved the text and the fluidity of the story line. Illustrations are gorgeous.

Illustrations are gorgeous, as always by Wendell Minor, although as a narrative, felt a bit choppy/disconnected. The rhyming text makes its point, perhaps to obviously - the message felt heavy-handed and the text just didn't flow as a story for me. Could be a good read for Earth Day in schools.

An excellent introduction to taking care of our planet and/or Earth Day for young children. The rhyming text and beautiful pictures will hold the children’s attention and allow to open discussion catered to the child’s attention and background. It also ends on a hopeful note, which is very important, especially for younger children.

love the illustrations, like the theme, mixed feeling on the style of the text. It is like an abbreviated version of the "house that Jack built".
