Overall, I did enjoy my time with this book. It reminded me of Doctor Who (in a good way, I love that show) and the characters were very lovable. I enjoyed the prophecy and reincarnation aspects of the story a lot and the writing was very nice. the ending was also moving.

however, the adventure did feel a tad repetitive and

idk if Obi is just trying to be comforting or whatever but him saying the Emperor wouldn't kill Xavier because he was a Hero felt like a big plot hole when he did, in fact, just try to kill all of them. so, either the character is being delulu or it's a plot hole. either way, it annoyed me

Two words: Lore rich. This is what I live for in fantasy books!! It was so well written and as I read I felt everything was leading up to something huge. The characters had sm depth and it balanced well with the story. I’m really looking forward to the next books!! I literally cannot imagine what will happen but I hope we get incredible fight scenes. Like I need to see Asha and Obi tearing the whole place UP.

ALSO, Xavier cannot be dead. PLEASE.
I thoroughly enjoyed the little lore snippets at the end of each chapter. It was such a nice touch and made me wondering what was going on and how it relates. Was NOT expecting Aziza to be the weapon 😭😭😭😭😭. That scene actually broke me. And idk how they’re going to beat the emperor PLUS evil sensit??? Abegg oh. And why is Dandeyi not with Adesola and Sensit in their adventures?? Because it makes me think it’ll be a while till they find Xavior. I really like him and want to see more of him. If I could wish something was different, it’ll be the POV. I would’ve preferred 1st person but it doesn’t even matter loll. I still thoroughly enjoyed it.
