Nice quick read but the story didn’t capture me as I wished it would.
None of the characters are likeable and everyone is so twisted and disturbed which made for a good story.
I just felt like not a lot happened for 70% of the book and everything was squeezed into the last bit. For me it just felt a little rushed.

The entire time I was reading I just wanted to get to the end. I was solely interested in who the killer was and the other details seemed to drag. The characters were so unlikable, even the narrator; I just wanted some redeeming qualities. The ending was good tho.

Had to go back and downgrade it to a 1 star cause after thinking about it, the writing seemed to romanticize cutting and thinking back on the story made me nauseous and not in a good murder mystery way.

I enjoyed the book but nothing super special about it to me. It felt weirdly paced and then everything happened and it was over, not as satisfying. I get the twist and why people would like it but I need something else to get it above a 3 star review. Oh well, I enjoyed it enough but not really my cup of tea.

Second Gillian Flynn book I read, and again.. Was sucked in. Gripping. Loved the ending. Didn't expect it which I loved. Will continue to read everything she writes.
