Wow...this is a very dark book. I listened to it on audible.com, and having it told to me made it seem so much more graphic and shocking. A twisted story filled with darkness.

Gillian Flynn's best thriller next to Gone Girl. Set in a wonderfully creepy, suffocating small Southern town with even more wonderfully creepy children on that cusp between girlhood and womanhood. Gillian Flynn has a real gift for writing incredibly codependent relationships that's just delicious.
