For the hopeless romantics. I just don’t like that she was engaged 😭 but for the plot I guess.. lon handled that so well bc I would’ve crashed out. Also the writing was kinda cheesy and meh but ppl are saying the movie is better so hopefully it is

Is it blasphemous to say that I liked the movie better? I only read this because I heard the Broadway show was more like the book than the movie. The writing was....interesting. Too much licking.....Aye aye aye....

Just like Nights in Rodanthe, this really tugged at the heartstrings and had my bawling my eyes out by the time I was halfway through. D; I was surprised to learn that Allie & Noah's ending is different from that in the movie, and really upset to learn that Noah was left behind (to reprise his role in The Wedding.

Despite the fact that Allie & Noah's store is so foreign to me, set in a different time, different place, and they're experiencing emotions that I havent, I totally empathised with them. I felt everything they felt, hence the loads of tears.

Ugh Nicholas Sparks is a genius.
