Exciting premise and great story that finally came together at the end. The writing felt slightly clunky at times but it might have been the translation. Excited to get to the next part of the trilogy!

Interesting concepts that would have made a great short story collection. As a novel, the characters are nearly all completely flat, the narration is very dry and mostly exposition, and the dialogue is stiff as a board. It might have been the translation, but I have very mixed feelings about this.
