gut-wrenching… my jaw has never dropped so many times, my heart beating with anticipation on what to expect next. i have come to love these characters so much AHSHDHJXHF the characters in this book have a special place in my heart, words cannot describe how much i adore this series already!!! i’m quite glad there are 16 books in total because i NEED MOREEEEEEE!!!!

I think I may have liked this book even better than the previous one. The world and the characters seem completely real, and the reading experience is very immersive. I can’t wait to go back to this world :)

Hobb is determined to test the elasticity of my heart. It’s like she wants to crumple it and then puff it up to mend it. Over and over. And despite this, now I want to read her entire catalog.

Slightly slower than the first book with more day to day life. But the ending was WOW! Excited to see where the next book goes!
