I have loved the Regency Faerie Tales series by Olivia Atwater, I read all of them in preparation for this!

I am so glad she did a gothic version of this!!! Totally my favorite out of them all!

This was a good read, but it lacked a little of the spark that made me love Half a Soul. I still really enjoy her writing. I liked Winnie a lot, but it felt like it took too long to get to know Quincy. I do recommend reading the other books before this one as previous characters & events are heavily referenced.

I really enjoy the way Olivia Atwater writes; I loved her regency faerie tale books, and enjoyed coming back into that world. This is darker in tone than the regency ones, but honestly I enjoyed that as well. Looking forward to more of these!

It was alright. I liked the main character and the general creepy vibes of the manor and the faerie dream world. I did get confused by the plot at times though, and I wish the secondary characters had been fleshed out more.

After the previous series of the author grew rather stale, this was a very refreshing breath of fresh air.
