I have to say this is one unique book. It is rare to find a book that falls under so many genres and even harder to find a good one. The blend was seamless and all seemed to have a purpose. And the characters were so life like. I love character development so much because people never stop growing or learning and making mistakes. Unrealistic characters can ruin a perfectly good story. Luckily this did great on that front. A good read for someone looking for something interesting, different, or characters you can become friends with.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I love this book and had it read in a few days, it leaves you wanting to just keep turning the pages to see what’s going to happen next. The back story of Mastic and the legend it’s based on is so intriguing and the writing style keeps propelling you forward. I highly recommend this to anyone in need of a mental escape!
