I absolutely loved Lina and Reid and the will they or won't they suspense the reader is waiting to find out. This is an age gap forbidden romance set in a world of billionaires, secrets, and lots of family drama. Lina is intent on losing her v-card and thinks she has just the guy for the job after seeing Reid eyeing her up in a club the night of her 21st birthday. Reid is on board until he he's that v word and it's game over for him. Lina's plans for a one night stand turn into an utter disaster - that gets even worse months later when she sees her would be lover at her mothers wedding. She soon learns that the man who almost took her v-card is non other than her new step-cousin (not really cousin - this is important folks!). Turns out, Reid couldn't get Lina out of his mind either, only for different reasons than her. So what does he do? Torture them both with all the confusing back and forth on his want and desire for her. They end up playing a brutal game, engaging in a secret affair that neither of them know the way out of. Feelings develop, family secrets come out, and Reid and Lina are are left to decide what they're willing to risk for each other and if it will all be worth it I the end. They find support in the last person they expected it from and that sets them on the path to designing their own future. Reid and Lina are absolutely perfect for one another despite the age gap, family drama and secrets, and the forbiddeness surrounding their relationship. The epilogue and glimpse into their future made me so happy and I'm hoping to see more of this couple in future installments in the Brutal Billionaire's world.

One of my favorite books by this author. That, by itself, says something because this author has written some amazing books.
The banter between Lina and Reid was hilarious. I loved everything about these two characters. The chemistry, the foreplay,, and the build-up to being a couple were chef's kiss. Oh, and the steam? Yeah, that almost made my Kindle overheat. The story was fantastic and made it so that the steam wasn't the focus. Although, it still was the focus, if that makes sense. I was invested in seeing how this story was going to unfold and in these characters to get their happily ever after.
Add in fantastic secondary characters that hopefully get their own stories. Highly recommend this book and author, especially for those readers that might just have the books on their kindle and hadn't read it yet.

Enjoyed this book for most of the book. I lost a little interest after Lina finally lost her virginity. It was a true romance, though, and a good read. I loved the comedy. There were times I literally had to stop reading because I was cracking up, and for that, it earned my buy-in.

I truly enjoyed this one and getting more of the Sebastian clan. Lina was such a lovable & hilarious FMC, also a relatable queen. Her inner dialogue had me cracking up. I loved the buildup between her and Reid. They were so deliciously good together. I love me a taboo age-gap romance and this one was great. I was so nervous at the end with what was happening, and I am so glad it went down the way it did. I can’t wait for more books about this family
