it's shocking how much more palatable these books are once the incest plotline is removed (unfortunately it does seem like this will be the ONLY book where that's true). i still hate clary & jace, jace in particular is one of the dumbest characters i've ever read (he doesn't know what a mango is).
i do have to say i felt like i was in a bit of a reading slump and i did find myself picking up this book all the time to read so thanks i guess miss cassandra.
i'll be generous with the rating for 1. getting me out of a tiny reading slump and 2. not having the incest shenanigans and i fear those are returning next book so please say a prayer for me!!!!!!!

Creo que los cazadores de sombras tienen que invertir en psicólogos y mucha terapia. Quizás así puedan desarrollar habilidades de comunicación y dejar de castigarse por cosas que están fuera de su alcance.

I loooove reading from Simon's perspective! But i'm getting kind of tired of Jace and Clary. There's just too much drama. Looking forward to the next book though!

It is not one of Cassandra clares best it could have had a lot more action don't get me wrong I loveeee this series but this one was not the best hopefully city of lost souls will be much better
