I found this to be a humorous contemporary story. I would list it as realistic, but it wasn't really. It was a little unbelievable at times, but in that romantic comedy sort of way. The audience knows it wouldn't really happen, but is willing to go along with it because it's more fun. This is a book that made me smile.

I enjoyed the fact that there were triplets. There aren't many books starring triplets. My only issue with that was the difficulty of keeping them straight. I knew that one was a planner, one was shy, another one has boundless energy. That wasn't the problem. Each chapter was narrated by a different sister, but their voices were indistinguishable. This only bothered me when I was trying to keep them straight. Eventually, I stopped trying and then it was fine. It didn't really matter which one was talking so I just kept reading as if it was one narrator.

I think young readers will enjoy the scheming and the mischief that the girls create as they try to save their sister from marrying a guy who doesn't make her happy.

I would recommend this book for middle grade readers. However, as an adult i found the romance and mischief very enjoyable! The story is about 3 triplets that don't want their older sister to marry her bland fiance. Through various schemes they try everything to get her back together with her ex, who they know she's still in love with. Though the plot was extremely predictable, I enjoyed every second of it and literally could not put the book down. It took about 3 hours to finish. The only thing I did not like was that the triplets had names that all start with D and it made it hard to distinguish their personalities and who was who. I noticed that even the author mixed them up at one point in the story. I received this as a goodreads giveaway for an honest review and highly recommend this book to middle school girls and anyone looking for a romantic comedy.

Dawn, Darby, and Delany do not want their older sister Lily to marry Burton. For one thing, he looks like an armadillo. For another, he doesn't make their sister happy like her old boyfriend Alex used to. The triplets feel that Lily is making a huge mistake, and take it upon themselves to stop the wedding. Told in their three alternating voices (which don't really seem that different), this rollicking romp through a month of wedding planning and disasters will have readers laughing out loud. Recommended for grades 4-7.

3.5 stars, rounded up because despite the fact that major suspension of disbelief was required, it was still a cute read. I thought the reason for why Lily and Alex broke up wasn’t really explained.
