Very much enjoyed this. Really captured the Blade Runner feel. Fantastic art.

The artwork is stunning - true to the Blade Runner universe.
The story is captivating and Vol. 1 ends at a very interesting point. Gives us a quick peek into the next issue but does not reveal anything.
'Ash' is only getting better with every issue, from a regular blade runner in #Issue 1 to a complete badass in #Issue 4.

Gritty and grim, a new story in this future/present has Blade Runner Aahna ‘Ash’ Ashino investigating the case of a missing mother and daughter. Not her usual sort of case, but when the head of a corp “employs” you.....
Ash finds out that Alexander Selwyn (corp guy) is a buddy of Tyrell’s and they both seem to want the girl recovered, and not just cuz she’s a minor in danger.
This LA has replicants living throughout the lower parts of the city, and Ash goes through them and anyone else in her way to find the girl. It’s a dirty, grimy, dangerous place with desperate people everywhere. Ash has her own secrets, and has them used against her as she goes up against Selwyn, Tyrell, and a variety of replicants and others. The story ends with a number of unanswered questions; I’m fascinated by this expanded world and its many shady situations.

Nothing groundbreaking, but for fans of the two movies this is really good and the closest thing to exploring the theme of how bad life is on Earth like "Do Androids..." did.

A tremendously handsome and inventive yet reverent little part one of a detective story. Looking forward to getting my hands on part two. The balance of being detailed and yet impressionistic is wonderfully struck here and Green delivers rich characters simply and with short, clear, engaging dialogue.
