Very sweet book that pulls on motifs from many childhood fables.

I love that for a book with pictures, it is also one of my favorite audiobooks. I think it is a little healing every time I listen to it.

“What do you want to be when you grow up?"
"Kind," said the boy.”

No need for hours to finish this book. No hard thought processes are required because it is a book to be enjoyed. As the writer said, "it is a book for eighty or eight." That's how I feel too. I thought all the conversations were just cheesy talks that I already knew and didn't need anymore as a grown-up adult, but it turns out the inner child in me spoke up and reminded me again about how I should perceive this little thing called life. However, I must admit that reading the book compared to listening to the audiobook gives a different impact. In my preference, I would rather listen to the audiobook because it makes the conversation feel alive.
