I was surprised by how good this was. It started with an intense action scene that had me hooked. The descriptions of the world Samantha was held captive in, and the different characters and creatures were all detailed and interesting.

It ends on a cliffhanger, which I didn’t know before starting.

I could not put this book down as it neared the end! Samantha and Cadean are two very complicated characters, they drive me crazy (in a good way.) Samantha is hard headed and annoying at times.. well, most of the time, while Cadean is misunderstood and wants to be loved. The tension build up between them kept me on edge and eager to read more. I was relieved to see that the second installment in this series is coming out soon, because I simply don’t want to wait to continue the story!!

An intriguing plot but it was not holding my interest at all. I was struggling to pick it back up so I think it’s just time to move on.

Quick start. Non stop action. POV was good as well but I leaned more to finding the chapters where C was narrating they went quicker and I enjoyed them. S was a good character too and found myself really getting into her POV too. Sexual tension was right where it needed to be and didnt lose the plot. This is my first time reading this author, but I am already searching out other books. Her characters have great dynamics and the flow in which she can have them interact is great as well.

Ugh! This book kept me on my seat! Samantha is taken back to the dreamlands by the Wolf God & there she is thrust into the battle. She also meets Cadean’s brother who is also a god, but he’s against his brother in a sneaky way the entire time. Little do Cadean & Samantha know, but it’s as though they are mates (though neither want to acknowledge it). The book ends on a cliffhanger which leaves me dying for the next book! Samantha runs off with Cadean’s brother after healing Cadean and stealing his moonshard. And now, we wait for the next book . . .
