It was okay. Wouldn't recommend if your not big on contemps or fairy tales - watched Christine's review of the next book Off the page; probably won't read it but it sounds hilarious.

i adore jodi's books and make a point of devouring each one the day they come out. between the lines was no different. the fact that it is YA fiction didnt make any difference. I love that she collaborated with her daughter to create a fun and creative story for a younger audience. The story is lighthearted and something that any bookworm who has never felt like they fit in quite right can relate to.

This was fun. I expected it to be different than it is, but it was not bad at all. I am planning to read the companion book next.

A fun story to read but forgettable once you put it down/ There's nothing that really grabs your attention or interest, aside from the illustrations inside the book.

It took me quite some time to get into this book, between university assignments and the fact that I don't normally read books like this. However, I love, love, love the ending of this book. I was smiling and had tears in my eyes. Just a really lovely book!

I really loved the different take on the writing of this book..however I felt the story was a little dry and anti-climatic.

DNF. Forced myself to get to 62% and I dreaded the entire 62% of it. I usually don't mind insta-love, but this is just too much. I felt like from the moment they both found out about each other, they were already in love with each other, without even knowing anything about the other person.

Definitely not like any of Picoult's novels written on her own, which is to be expected. However, it is categorized as YA but definitely geared towards a younger audience. I bought it thinking it would be a good read since Picoult played a part in the writing, but was disappointed. It was a straightforward story with nothing unexpected or no underlying themes, etc. I would probably recommend it for 12-15 year olds, and for that age group it would be an excellent novel.
