THIS BOOK BROKE ME BUT IN A GOOD, POWERFUL WAY!! the whole story is filled with pain and distress but it was written with absolute beauty. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I love her books so much. But with this one, I was angry, sad, and happy when the main character was. 

I hated Reese so much, and cried when Amelie cried. I didn't want it to end. 

It's a very difficult read though. I had to put it down at multiple points because I just couldn't get through it. 

I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who gets triggered by abuse and gaslighting as it covers some very difficult topics, and it's definitely more mature than her other books.
