Theo continues to infuriate & entertain me in equal measure. This book had me really appreciating Jillian’s patience and love for him, and loving his character growth in the end. Especially excited to pick up the next one!

Computational Biologist Dr. Theo Cray is approached by a FBI agent, to look into a mysterious circumstance at FBI investigation site. Someone has murdered 2 forensic technicians brutally at the excavation site (where a serial killer from previous book, crime solved by Theo buried his victims) and one missing.
Theo Cray sees patterns in places no one can see. He can relate the unrelated through his scientific knowledge, different approach and a mind which can't stop until the puzzle is solved. This mystery was also top-notch, but in between I felt it a bit faltering. It's amazing to see Theo Cray's mind working. A good book. Author Andrew Mayne has done a good job.

Happy Reading!!

Teetering between 4 & 5 stars. I really like these books & I like the main character but I feel like I should like him more & just don’t. Also had to deduct some points for feasibility. I’m good at suspending disbelief but this pushed me to the limit a few times. So that sounds a bit too negative but overall I really enjoyed this book!

Informative Read

This book has less focus on the case hunting compared to the first 2 books. It is more on conversations and became boring at some point. The thrill has gone down too. This is just an "okay read" for me.
