Some of the articles are interesting, other extremely boring, and some are just wrong as most of the arguments can be disconfirmed with certain episodes. But metatheory is always a good thing. Well almost always.

This was super enjoyable to read, and makes me wish I could go back in time and subscribe to Trek. I hope I can find more books in this series. Really cool to see how fans were exchanging ideas and writing meta in a pre internet era.

A collection of essays and articles written just after the release of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, mostly analyzing and reviewing the film, its events, and aftermath. Fun to read 30-year old commentary from the fans. Now I really want to watch TWoK again!

A really fascinating look at Fandom and Fandom culture in the 80s. it's fun to see what has and hasn't changed. And many of the articles were enjoyable on their own merits. I'll definitely be scrounging used book stores looking for Best of Trek 1-6.
