These are shorter - but easy, sexy reads. Instalove like the last one, but a unique couple. Happy Kieran found his HEA with Jason.

Thank you “The Elf on the Shelf”

Good addition to the series where we get to see Kieran one of the original Friday boys get his man.
I really liked Kieran. He was so stable and mature. He knew what he wanted and even though he was a bit embarrassed at not recognising Jason he never doubted himself or that Jason would want to see him. He stood up for himself when needed and never let the guys walk over him.
Jason was also a good character. I felt for him with his grief and guilt. Kieran was good for him as he let him talk it out without judgment.
I was wondering how they were going to get around the fact that they both lived different lives and I enjoyed how that was resolved.
Good quick read

Getting away from Hollywood and coming to Ellery Mountain is what Jason hopes will be filled with the chance to relax and not be under the microscope he is used to with the paparazzi. He gets more than he bargains for when Kieran, the local carpenter, crosses his path. What was only supposed to be a two week fling ends up being so much more when Kieran becomes not only his lover but his confidante as well. But can two men from different walks of life make it work? Will Jason's past be something that stops him from finding his future? Emotionally this book tugged on my heartstrings. Jason has so much baggage to overcome and Kieran just needs to hug when he constantly feels he is not enough. Another great read in a fabulous series.

There is something a little bit special about this series! Each book focuses on a new couple but couples from previous books still make an appearance as all the guys get together for their weekly beers and all help each other - one happy family!

In this story, Kieran (the carpenter) and Jason (the actor), start a 2 week relationship while Jason is staying in Ellery. Jason is a Hollywood actor (cutely nicknamed "Hollywood" by the guys) but suffered the loss of his brother the year before. He is dealing with his guilt about his brother's death. Kieran is absolutely gorgeous - kind, caring, supportive and very much a part of Ellery.

Together they make a great couple, although at first it is difficult to see what they have in common. Their lives are so very different but really it comes down to what is in the heart, not where you live or what you do for a living. I loved the way that Jason was able to give Kieran what he needed sexually.

This is a lovely story that deals with overcoming loss and moving forward - for Jason this means dealing with this grief and Kieran's Dad also finds love again after the loss of his wife. The boys also get the centre for dealing with PTSD complete.

There are no huge dramatic moments such as the fires, car crashes and lunatics that appeared in previous books. So a bit less excitement but this doesn't make Kieran's and Jason's story any less special.

Another cracking good story in this series of little novelettes as I like to think of them. Although they're short, it doesn't stop RJ from really building up the characters of her men.

This one's super hot with a Hollywood actor hiding out from the world after the death of his brother and our delightful Kieran, who fills up his days with dreams of making his own furniture full time while helping out Daniel at the cabins.

Together the two of them are wonderfully sweet and also amazingly hot too as they switch up in the bedroom and bust those gay stereotypes with passionate scenes of light bondage and control.

Another nice Ellery Mountain read.
This one didn't really progress the back story - other than Keiran doing lots of repairs!
The relationship between Jason and Keiran starts because of mutual attraction and expediency-they only have two weeks. So everything is condensed.
Very character driven, easy and quick read.
