For the time being this one became my favourite from this series. I liked the idea that Benedict didn’t choose someone from the ton. That he didn’t care what the society would think about his marriage. And he listened to his heart instead. And Violet became one of my favourite characters.

unpopular opinion this is the best of the first 4 books! benedict and sophie are perfectly matched and i liked the cinderella retelling of it all. i would have preferred miscommunication to not be the main trope, but it all came worked out for the best. this one is quite dramatic compared to daphne and anthony but i would expect nothing less from benedict. violet is still the best bridgerton.
