This book was absolute taboo perfection! Super spicy with great tension and character development! Penny and Lincoln had my emotions in a vice and I loved every minute of it!

This book pulled on my heartstrings for sure. It was choc-full of the unhinged spice I expect when I pick up a Sarah Blue book, and there was also a lot of character development, as Lincoln and Penny navigated their own emotional trauma. This book was absolute fire, I couldn't put it down and loved every second! I love a good taboo romance and this one is one of the best!

This was a hands down 5 star read for me, and I will be recommending it to everyone!

I received an ARC of this book and voluntarily give my honest review.

Such an amazing book.
This book is so much more than the taboo storyline of cousins getting it on.

Penny is trying to find her place in the world. She was placed for adoption as a baby and while she was adopted into an amazing and truly loving family, she finds something missing. Constantly dating awful men who give her crumbs of attention, a career going nowhere, and wanting to find her birth parents - Penny is a mess.

“I'm so sick and tired of being the girl who changes who she is to adapt to a man. I'm ready to do something just for me. It might not be in the form of me figuring out what I want to do with my life or truly getting my shit together, but despite that, it feels like a start.”

Penny decides to become a member to a sex club and remain anonymous.. and use a glory hole exclusively.

In the other hand, Lincoln is tired of female attention after his was burned hard from his ex. He wants  no strings attached sex. Doesn’t even want to see their face. A sex club with a female glory hole sounds perfect.

You can see where this is going.. 😜🌶️

While this book definitely has spice, both of these characters are flawed and are on their own healing journey of love and forgiveness. Are they cousins by adoption? Yes they are. But they find love and comfort with each other and it’s not really as taboo when you watch them heal one another.

“Your Alabama secret is safe with me.”

I found myself laughing at so many points of this book. The found family trope is great in this storyline.

When the relationship is new, it’s definitely kept a secret.

"Please don't break my heart or take away my family," she says, looking down.”

"We need to make sure we work before we can't take it back."
"Penny, you already know we're in too deep."

It’s quite the love story. To take a chance on a unconventional relationship and coming out to the family that raised both of you. I personally loved it. I found it really well written. As someone who’s married to a man that was adopted by a loving family yet yearning to find birth parents and not getting the answers you wanted - it’s all realistic and tastefully written.
Well done Sarah Blue. 🖤

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
My body is completely at his mercy. This man I don’t know is about to own me for the night, and I’m eager for it.

I devoured this book! Forbidden romance. Two broken souls finding each other. High steam. Angst and pining. All the good stuff.

A new kink has been unlocked. I was the embodiment of that meme. Wondered if I’d found an ick, turned out glory holes are my thing. At least on paper. Loved the anonymity of the wall separating the partners. The anticipation. The feelings of degradation and pleasure.

This is a fast burn - at least the smut hits early, even if it takes some time for the lovers to accept their feelings - and very spicy MF romance. Kinks galore.

This book can be read as a complete standalone though there are character crossovers. Penny and Lincoln get their HEA in the end.

Highly recommended.
