"Help step-cousin, I'm stuck in a book slump after reading this book"

I don't know what kind of magical smut crack Sarah sprinkles in her books but I can confirm, I am addicted.

Lincoln is deliciously grumpy but at the same time, is just absolutely a ride or die family man. Due to his past relationship leaving him jaded, he wants a no strings attached fun and the Key Club has just the thing for him.

Penny is a sunshiny hopeless romantic who struggles with finding her place in her life between being adopted, feeling out of place, and trudging through one shit relationship after another. She wants to find a way to explore her desires and what is better than anonymous relations through......a gloryšŸ•³ļø?

The spice is fantastic and absolutely blush-worthy and the backstory had me shedding a tear -damn you, Sarah for making me feel things! I don't know what store they sell these Carlson brothers at but I'll take the lot!

I absolutely enjoyed this one. It's book two in the series but it can be read as a stand alone. This story is a spicy, taboo/forbidden romance. Penny and Lincoln are step cousins so this book might not be for you. They definitely do not have any blood relation.
Penny only falls for the wrong men and when her last relationship ends she decides relationships are not for her at the moment. So why not go to a club to find pleasure with a mystery man. The  stranger on the other side of the wall really knows how to please her and make her fantasies come true. What she didn't expect is for her mystery man to be Lincoln.
After a failed relationship years ago, Lincoln hasn't had a relationship since. He does visit a club every so often and when they start holding evening with strangers he decides to go. Being a grumpy man he didn't expect to fall for this woman behind the wall.
I really loved the dynamic between Penny and Lincoln as they are really sunshine/grumpy and it was so cute to read. A big part of Penny's journey in this book was finding her birth parents as she felt lost and wanted to know where she came from. At some point Lincoln was also the only person that knew she found something and he really supported her so well.
So if you are looking for a very steamy taboo romance be sure to check this one out!
Thanks to Sarah Blue for this eARC in exchange for an honest review.

Yup, yup, yup!!! See? This is my type of book! Just the right amount of speed/pacing that I like, right amount of smut and best microtropes in this book!

I’ll be honest, I’ve been on my e-ARC grind for the past 2 months and the book that I read prior to this put me in the biggest book slump ever. If it weren’t for deadlines I wouldn’t have pushed myself to read this book until I gave myself a week off of just no books at all. Seriously, that’s how bad it felt. BUT, last night, I said to myself, just read 2 chapters. If I read 2 chapters, I’ll get to read this steadily and be done by release day.

JOKES ON ME! I read this til 2am in the morning with 20% left (I needed to go to bed cuz…appointments). And, I kept coming to this book while at work and JUST finished.

This book was so good. It caught my attention right from the beginning. I have so much understanding for Penny. I understood her reticence but also her desire to explore herself outside of a relationship…ugh but in comes
Mr Grumpy Batman aka
Lincoln to ruin it all. Gosh he is so needy for her but man do I love that about him! (Red flag where?) šŸ˜‚ But seriously, I love that he just had this instinct that she was the one. And that she was a little hesitant.

And, I think I can officially say, this is the first book that I have read that had…certain themes in a sex club. I don’t want to give it away in case you don’t know about it but…you’d be in for a big surprise. I’ll leave it at that. UGH and my favorite microtrope of all….i didn’t realize this was my favorite until I read it LOL! But, the car scene 😘 chefs kiss!!

Please, if you’re looking for a fast paced, forbidden/taboo, with so much spice, this one’s for you babe!

I love Sarah Blue’s books and I will tell you why. Upon hearing about her writing a story about adopted cousins falling in love after a glory hole hook up, I was like ā€œEW WHATS THAT?! BRUTHAHā€¦ā€ so when I applied for th ARC team and HAD to read Forget Your Morals, I was like ā€œok fine, I’ll do it but I’m going to gag the whole time.ā€

IM HAPPY TO REPORT I DID NOT GAG ONCE AND I HAVE A HIGH GAG REFLEX. Sarah makes even the most taboo of romances SO RELATABLE. Like, yes I TOTALLY understand why someone would want to go to a glory hole! It TOTALLY MAKES SENSE why the adopted cousins get together! I GET IT!

Beyond me just being an absolute Sarah Bee STAN, this story was well written, flowed well, and was SPICY HOT! 🄵 even though this is a MF open door smut-fest (which normally is only 3šŸŒ¶ļø in my book), the glory hole bonanza shot that sucker up a whole point.

If you want an ENTRY LEVEL family taboo romance, this is a great one to start with (speaking as a person who has read only a few others and this felt very accessible).

Already purchased my special edition. Will be rereading because Lincoln Carlson is what dirty dreams are made of 🫶

A huge thank you to Sarah letting me join her arc team and by gracing me with Lincoln and Penny’s book. I absolutely loved this one. I devoured it in ONE NIGHT. I clearly don’t have self control.

Lincoln and Penny are adopted cousins. They grew up together. Lincoln protected her like any related cousin would be. Penny decided to work on herself after my struggles in her life. I really do love how Lincoln is towards Penny. He is beyond respectful and supportive other half for her.

Sarah out did herself with this one. I can’t wait for my SE to come in the mail

I knew as soon as I met penny and Lincoln that I’d fall in love with their story and boy have I. They are both struggling to discover who they are and their place in their world. Lincoln has been lost since his breakup with his last serious girlfriend four years ago. Penny never feels like she is enough and is constantly dating losers to boot. They both find themselves searching for something, anything to get them out of their ruts. This leads them to the key club at the spicy club in town. What starts out as anonymous fun turns into something more when they discover each other’s secret.

Their story is full of obsession, angst, and sweet sweet moments as well as such good spice. I want a Lincoln for myself. He’s so patiently not patient and so devoted to penny. He fights for their relationship in the best ways.  He also truly makes Penny a better version of herself just by supporting her.

So much of Penny resonated with me. The insecurities and the wanting to feel like you aren’t letting anyone down. Her feeling like she’s just coasting through life, not fully living it. It was very refreshing to have fmc who feels these things. And made me love her so much.

This is the type of book that I immediately want to go back and reread! I loved it so much! It’s so much fun but each character has so much delvelpment and is really fleashed out in the best of ways. The spice in the book just so good too! Lincoln is one heck of a dirty talker! Also, it was really fun to have this book take place at the same time as swallow your pride because you got the other side of a few events and conversations while still giving this book room for its own story.

Another amazing one from Sarah. Really felt Penny in this one, her self worth definitely hit close to home a lot in this. Grumpy Lincoln turning out to be an absolute golden retriever was so fun to read and great character development. This was all the taboo and cozy vibes I love from Sarah and I can’t wait to see what she does nextšŸ«¶šŸ»

I loved this! All the romance and the kinks seemed well thought out. The character development is palpable and absolutely realistic. Loved erything about this. I felt like this book had the perfect amount of romance, kink, self discovery, family tension, that none was more overpowering than the other.

Lincoln and Penny were just so easy to love!

This was a book that definitely kept me wanting to come back for more.
