Update: Mitchell is no longer my favorite hero of this series; Lock is. He's adorable, and Mitch acts like a prick in the next book.

My favorite book of the series.
I liked Mace, Shaw and Smitty (even though they were complete bastards sometimes) but I want me a Mitchell. He was just so darn sweet and adorable! And I've got to admit, I wasn't a big Sissy fan in the former books, but I really liked her as the hero of this.
Truly an enjoyable read. I am falling hard for Shelly's writing style and this series. I just had to grin half the time. I also find it interesting that Shelly keeps having someone else finish the hero's job. I mean, they don't get to be all kick ass and destroy the villains themselves, but it's still a sweet victory.
Also, I adored the fact we didn't have the whole denial thing about the fact they loved each other. It just feel into place and the "I love you"s came naturally once it did, without the whole "I'm running away from you know because I am an independent woman and commitment scares me" shit. Sorry for the language.

I loved sissy n mitch's story but I found the 1st half slow n sometimes boring. What I did like about this story was a lot more detail into sissy/ronnie/dee passed and life in smithtown. Mitch and sissy completely suit each other. Great HEA.

I actually liked it. This is better than the last 3 books in this series. I loved Sissy Mae, though, she had been really mean at times. I liked the other characters and I loved the plot. But I'd expected Mitch to mark her - which he didn't. So, this makes it kinda an incomplete ending.

Reread 2018: I guess I'm on a Shelly Laurenston kick. After rereading [b:The Beast in Him|2278298|The Beast in Him (Pride, #2)|Shelly Laurenston|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1398004051s/2278298.jpg|2284410], I just had to reread The Mane Attraction. Still funny, still cute, and it's fun to revisit these characters in their youth. I blame reading [b:Hot and Badgered|35534548|Hot and Badgered (Honey Badger Chronicles, #1)|Shelly Laurenston|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1513510823s/35534548.jpg|56957047] last month.

A third book that made me laugh so much !

After my disappointment with Sissy Mae in the previous book, I must admit I was a little afraid of being disappointed with her story with Mitch ... And not at all !

I LOVED the Mitch / Sissy couple who were so perfect from the first moment : I loved how they first become best friends (with the same weird sense of humor xD) before falling in love (something both romantic but also so funny xD) And of course, I loved meeting the whole Smith family who have a little crafty / crazy side that made them so endearing (I loved Sissy's father but also all the rest of the family !)

In short, a third book that I devoured and that I recommend for everyone who wants to read a light and hilarious book !
