Short, fun and enjoyable read. Wish the author has also included the storyline of the middle sibling as she felt more like a side character. Happy to see more diverse characters in romance stories- the de la Rosa family is Filipino-American.

The de la Rose family runs a wedding business called Happily Ever After. The book follows their struggles to take over the family business and find new ways of working together. It also chronicles their love lives and the lives of a few clients. A fun read.

Wedding and wedding planning novels can be tricky. There is the element of the keeping track of everyone in the wedding and whose planning it and the family and emotional drama that comes with it. That being said, this novel had the right balance of wedding planning and emotional family moments between the three sisters. It was less lighthearted than advertised but that was alright. The cultural specificity of the Filipino and Filipino-Black characters was visible but in an authentic way.
It was more "clean" than I expected in the romance area. I do wish Janelyn got her own POV, which would make it longer but would also help clarify what was happening in her story.

What a beautiful story! I adored getting to know the de la Rosa sisters and their wedding planning business. The setting, the drama, and the romance all made this a perfect feel-good read!

I thoroughly enjoyed this. The sister dynamics were great though largely defined by birth order. (And the middle sister doesn't have much of a voice or story on her own. Poor middle children.) However, overall it was just a really enjoyable read with characters I would like to see more of.

The Key to Happily Ever After by Tif Marcelo

I won this novel from the publisher through Goodreads and I'm very grateful for that! This is a lovely story about sisterhood.

Mari, Jane and Pearl are sisters and have recently taken over the family business, Rings & Roses from their parents. It's a wedding planning business and they have all three been taught by their mom the handiwork of being able to plan the perfect wedding.
They have different roles in the company but Pearl, the youngest of the sisters, is not happy with hers. She wants to do lore, take on more responsibility but is she up for the task?

The sisters are stubborn and how do you resolve business matters with those you love the most? To not let the business side destroy the personal bonds?

Something I really liked was that while this is a cute story, the author didn't shy away from topics like abuse and mental health. It gives the novel depth and credibility.

I saw that a new book by the author is coming out later this year and I'm putting it on my TBR.
