This was such an enjoyable novella. I really liked these characters, who were brave enough to show each other their true wants and needs. (Which led to an incredible journey for love)

Well, that happened!
Enjoyable. But here's my problem. These short erotica pieces? They often have plots that could have (often maybe *should have*) been novel-length to do them justice. But because the text is short and the characters are so busy boning, the plot gets rushed. This would have made a great novel, is what I'm saying. But it still made an enjoyable novella. Want some historical romance smut with sub/dom play? Look no further.

First time I've read an HR with some spanking... It was nice to see Rachel discoverung what she likes and that it's fine to have those needs. It's was a cute story full of Christmas vibes but too short, as usual with a novella. I wish we had more variations of the "corrections" used by Arran (unusual name) than just spanking tho.

It was cute but the relationship could’ve used for depth for the length it was. Spanking isn’t really my thing so the sex scenes weren’t my favorite. I think they were also pretty tame for what we were promised?

Oh, this was a fun, naughty, sexy Christmas novella! The couple had tons of chemistry and the storyline, although succinct, worked really well. I love a fat heroine in a regency romance and a hero who worships her body. This was a kinky good time!

I mistook this for a cozy christmas romance novella, and it ended up being erotica dressed as historical romance which is REALLY NOT for me. But it's my own fault - I will read book descriptions and reviews even more closely in the future.

A fun novella, one I would actually have enjoyed seeing stretched into a full novel, actually. I thought the miscommunication in the story was a bit annoying but I understood it’s place in the story. The sex in this one was a bit too much for me and that does seem to be a pivotal part of the story but other than that I really enjoyed the characters and their stories.
