While this is a solid book in and of itself, the audio version added a whole extra star because WOW! The way its mixed together, the elements used in conjunction with a full audio cast was nothing short of brilliant

Fantastic full cast audio version of this book! The different letters, emails, and Strange Exits podcast made this book a wonderful reading experience.
The story focused on Violet’s disappearance, but I think it was really about the mending of her relationship with her sister, Sasha. I like the two perspectives of the sisters, how one can want this big, exciting famous life and the other can want a more subdued, calmer family life. Neither is wrong or better, and this was what each one of them had to learn.
The magic seemed too spectacular to be just magical illusions, so I was very satisfied with the ending. I think it leaves the future open for Violet and Sasha to see each other now that they have reconciled.
Great book, and definitely audio is the only option!
